On top of the time it takes to write and edit the content for this site, there is also time required for maintenance. Mostly, this is not a big problem - the site is about as low-tech as any web site can get away with being.

Nonetheless, every now and then, things must be done. As the volume of content continues to grow, it seemed that it would be useful to have an index of columns by subject. So I have prepared an initial version of just such an item, available here: Subject Index. Over the next few weeks, I hope to improve it further, and add some alphabet links at the top to assist with directionality. Ultimately, the site needs its own search engine, and having a subject index available will help with that project, too.
